The Niche Directory Project aims to produce a system whereby highly usefull niche listings can be created at little cost by anyone on almost any system. It will be tested on free hosts as well as paid with the aim that you will require nothing beyond the ability to run php scripts.

The first version is availbale for download. It comes in two flavours tar.gz for those that like fast downloads and know what they are doing and a zip file for windows users with less expirence (twice as big). The files inside are exactly the same.

You can add custom text to specific pages and you are not limited by the software as to howmany directories or how deep. You can cross link directories and structure things as you wish. By version 0.5 you should be able to gcreate groupings and use tags. Groupings will have specific custom features and will allow you to take advantage of a little "set theory" in your managment.
By version 1.0 you will be able to take unsolicited suggestions, search, plugins and a full documentation of the system.
